Childbirth Education
Learning how your body works to birth a baby plays a very important role in reducing fear and empowering your choices not only during birth - but as a parent as well. The International Journal of Gynecology and Obstetrics preformed a study “The impact of childbirth education classes on delivery outcome” in 2020 that states, “Participation in childbirth classes has a positive impact on pregnancy outcome.” and says that patients who attended had higher vaginal birth rates and lower intervention rates.
Support Group
I host a postpartum support group the 2nd Tuesdays of the month from 10-11:15 AM at the Prairie Du Chien Pubic Library. Join other mother’s walking the same journey as you. We are all in this together and need to uplift and support one another. Come and talk about the transition into motherhood and ask any questions you may have. This is a safe environment you can bring your new baby to. If you’re pregnant and want to attend, feel free to stop by!
